False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are provided at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These courses start at NCV level two as well as minimal requirement would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.

After the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they'd then have attained a grade 10 certificate. NCV Level three would be grade 11 and NCV Level four is grade 12.

NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, becoming comparable to a National Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade 9 is on NQF level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV level two which is equivalent to an NQF level 2.

On which kind of students are suited to these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that traditional schooling is not really essentially the sole way of getting to be an artisan or becoming experienced therefore if a student knows from an early age what their pursuits are, the NCV programme is really completely fitted to that student.
